Wood Structure Replacements - North Louisville 161 kV T/L

Atwell & Gent provided full planning, design, procurement, and construction administration services required to provide replace existing wood pole structures with new steel pole structures in approximately 2.2 miles of 161 kV transmission line generally between the Hunt Street 161 Switching Station and the North Louisville 161/13 kV Substation. Design services for this project included transmission line survey and topography, planning, permitting, physical and electrical design, structure framing, phasing and final connections. Our firm was responsible for review of vendor submittals and drawings, and incorporation of final vendor drawings into the final construction package. Atwell & Gent was responsible for construction administration of the project, including project coordination and scheduling, and field inspections.
