Atwell & Gent was part of the design team with Neel-Schaffer for the construction of the Landfill Gas Combustion Generators for the Golden Triangle Regional Solid Waste Management Authority. Our firm was responsible for electrical design, control layout and schematics for the control building, design of electrical interfacing of the generation equipment, valves, power grid connection, and safety controls. Additional responsibilities include protective relaying and coordination of the interconnection tie of the generation facilities and the utilities’ distribution system.
